Claire Coello, a designer from Chiapas, began with her project in 2010 but it is from 2017 that it adopts the name of Casilda Mut.
Her career led her to generate a great commitment to the development of indigenous communities in the region and positive collaboration with them, a common denominator of the entire team that now makes up Casilda Mut in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas.
The mission of this project focuses on artisans and the beauty and memory of traditions. When these women lead community projects based on artisan work groups, a synergy is achieved allowing them to grow in an environment of collaboration and harmony. As part of our commitment, the production is constantly distributed among artisans from 6 different communities in the state of Chiapas.
